We are down to the final days of this election and these last two debates count. According to our national poll of likely voters released today, 3 out of 4 Americans say foreign policy impacts their vote. Yet nearly half say the presidential candidates are not discussing international issues enough.
Let’s raise our voices and encourage the candidates to address these concerns on debate night!
In addition to these figures, the poll found that voters favor a candidate who emphasizes international cooperation with organizations like the United Nations. Also, the top issues voters said they want to hear about — the Middle East, Iran and Afghanistan — are all issues for which the UN is furthering U.S. interests.
Now is the time to talk about it! Take action today and tell the debate moderators to ask the candidates: “Since our most pressing global challenges require international cooperation, how should we partner with international organizations like the UN?”
YOU can change the debate conversation. Tell the moderators to address the importance of working with international organizations like the UN.
