Mission accomplished at the morning shows!

April 25 2008

Our morning show teams went really well today—we are so proud of all of the people who showed up to help get the word out about World Malaria Day. We got interviewed by Al Roker on the Today Show, and at the Early Show, we got LSU Tigers star Glenn Dorsey—now an NFL draft recruit—to hold up our buzzkill shirt!

Harry Smith, the Early Show Anchor, also got a pic with the mosquito. People came up off the street and asked to help out, wanting to wave posters, wear shirts, and sport Nothing But Nets wristbands. Great job Nothing But Nets!

Next up: our youth event at NYU, and ringing the closing bell at New York Stock Exchange with Rick Reilly, Ted Turner and the mosquito!
