Did you do anything fun President’s Day weekend? We did!
The Nothing But Nets team traveled to Houston to take part in the NBA All-Star Jam Session and cheer on Champion Stephen Curry in the Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout. Although Curry did not win the three-point contest, he is winning another challenge: His Three for Three Challenge to fight malaria. Curry will donate three life-saving bed nets to Nothing But Nets for every three-pointer he sinks this season. So far, he has made 155 threes, which will provide 465 families bed nets to keep them safe from malaria! Steph came up short in his quest to win the shootout, but sending nets and saving lives make him an all-star in our book. You can join him in the Three for Three Challenge by donating at NothingButNets.net/donate.
The Nothing But Nets team met hundreds of supporters and basketball fans in Houston—but NBA fans weren’t the only ones excited about getting off the bench to spread the buzz about fighting malaria. NBA and WNBA stars stopped by to show their support too! The Nothing But Nets team was proud to stand alongside Ruth Riley, Gary Payton, Sheryl Swoopes, Muggsy Bogues, Tamika Catchings, Detlef Schrempf, Candice Wiggins, and countless others committed to protecting families from this preventable disease.
Even if you missed All-Star weekend, you can still help. Support Stephen Curry’s Three for Three Challenge and send a net and save a life today.
