From sending bed nets and other lifesaving tools to advocating for strong U.S. leadership and funding– Nothing But Nets worked alongside the global malaria community in 2019 to step up the fight to eliminate this deadly disease. Some highlights include:
- In 2019, Nothing But Nets protected 2,400,967 people from malaria across 16 countries through the delivery of 161,050 bed nets, 187,000 diagnostics tests, and 323,227 anti-malarial treatments.
- Our 600 champions held 213 meetings with members of Congress, contributing to a historic $210 million increase for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, & Malaria, and a $15 million increase to the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI). This will save MILLIONS of lives over the next three years.
